Tatum's 1st Day of School!

Today was Tatum's first day of preschool at Packer Preschool. And boy she was ready to go!!! She is just the PERFECT blend of "Sweet & Sassy!" I just LOVE this little girl:)



I was really sad when I realized that this is my last year of Packer Preschool:( All of my kids have gone through this program--I've had a kid in Packer Preschool almost every year for the past 8 years! Ah well, time moves on...I'm doing my best to take in these little moments every day.

My Next Budding Pianist:)

Tatum does NOT like to be left out of anything! Every Sunday, I teach Carlie, Ethan, and Max piano lessons at 3:00. Tatum has a fit if I don't work with her some on the piano too. So, here's what we have been working on for about 2 weeks. Not bad for a 3 year old!!! (I asked her how old she was because I LOVE the way she holds up her "3!" It's the pitchfork sign that the Sundevils use! Future ASU girl on our hands? Go Devils:)

Heaven Help Me!

So we're only into our 3rd week of school when Max comes home and announces:

"This will be my LAST year of school. I'm quitting when I reach 2nd grade because that will be enough school for me. And I also want to be a 'Goth' when I grow up!"

I stop everything I am doing at that moment. What am I suppose to say to that?!

"Well Max dear....dropping out of school in 2nd grade is NOT an option, and how the HECK do you know anything about being a GOTH?!?!"

Well it turns out that there is a "Goth Boy" on one of his favorite Wii games--My Sims. And he wears all black and lives in a spooky house and doesn't like anything cute--Max has been wanting a "Halloween" themed bedroom for years, he just can't convince Ethan of it:)

Sooo....it may be a REALLY long 10 more years of school and I just pray that Max will someday marry a girl that has the same passion for Halloween as he does--and then they can decorate their house however they want:) Lord...give me strength to endure this boy:)
