"Buddy" the Elf

The "Elf on the Shelf" has to be one of the kid's MOST FAVORITE traditions of Christmas! This was the 2nd year of having "Buddy" visit us from the North Pole. Buddy was extremely creative in his hiding places this year as the kids have gotten a whole lot smarter. He even managed to stump them a few times! On his last day here (Christmas Eve) he went out with a bang! On that morning, he was found immediately by Max because he was hanging upside down by his legs underneath the top bunk of the boy's bunk bed so that he was staring Max in the face as soon as he sat up. About 6:30 a.m. we hear Max yell "ZOINKS!!!!" (Yes, he is a HUGE fan of Scooby Doo). And we couldn't help but laugh and laugh because we knew exactly what had happened! (Buddy let us know what he was planning the night before:) Thanks Buddy for helping the kids be extra good this year with your nightly reports to Santa. We'll see you next year!!!
