Easter 2014

We enjoyed a nice quiet Easter at home this year--best way to spend it in my opinion:)

Carlie decided that she is now too old to color eggs.  So she went to the movies with her friends instead--I guess that's how it goes:(

Max's Latest Obsession:)

My Max is an OBSESSOR!!!  He gets fixated on an idea or thing and HOLDS STRONG to it--at least for 3 days:)  So my rule with him is, "If you REALLY need or want this, we will wait 4 days.  If after 4 days you STILL REALLY want this, then you can get it."

Towel animals, magic/card tricks, computer games, cameras, making movies, etc…just to name a very few of his obsessions.

Well lately, he has really been into puppets.  He's watched every episode of "Muppets" on YouTube that he can and he's watch LOTS of videos on how to make puppets as well.  So I let him at all my craft supplies, and this is what he came up with:

I was BLOWN AWAY! He did this 100% on his own!  His puppet's name is "Johnny."  Way to go Max.  I actually REALLY like this obsession phase of yours:)
