Max's Jr. Prom

Prom plans began months ago.  I can't decide if being the "boy mom" is easier OR harder than being the "girl mom."  It's a toss up.  Maybe it's just Max....he's kinda exhausting.  But I love the little stinker more than he'll ever know.  He of course asked his cute Brielle.

So OF COURSE my boy had a GREAT time at his Junior Prom.  Of course, when you're with Max Meeker, fun is a guarantee:)

Tatum hits "For the Cycle"

So I learned a new "sports term" this week as my daughter had an AMAZING game.  First of all, she hit a triple, and then went on to hit her first home run ever (in a game), then a double, and finally a single.  Apparently this is a very rare event and of course I missed it.  But thankfully, Chris is once again the scorekeeper for the team and I was able to follow the game live on the new scorekeeping app the team is using this year.  So she was 4 for 4 on hits today!

This new scoring app also keeps the stats for each player and even writes up a sports story recap.  Here's what was said about my girl this week:

4-Hit Day for Meeker As Heritage Academy Heroes Varsity Skirts Past Mission Heights Prep:

D. Ibarra led the Heritage Academy Heroes Varsity to victory in the pitcher's circle.  The righty lasted four innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out eight.

Heritage Academy Heroes Varsity tallied one home run on the day.  Meeker went yard in the second inning.
