Max & Tatum are once again at CTA-Independence. They each got teachers that BOTH my older children BOTH had and we LOVED them so we were thrilled to have familiar faces. Tatum is in 2nd grade with Mrs. Schanaker and Max is in 4th grade with Mrs. Tibke. Both of these teachers actually switched grades this year so it was definitely a pleasant surprise to get them:) These two started school on Monday, July 23rd.
Carlie & Ethan both had an extra 2 1/2 weeks of summer--which they loved but I thought was a little too long:) They are both attending Heritage Academy this year in Mesa. I was able to find a carpool this year so I am ABSOLUTELY THRILLED!!! I pay an 18 year old gas $ to drive my kids to and from Mesa Monday-Thursdays and it's great (no school on Fridays)!!! And apparently all the kids in the carpool are "WAY COOL" so that just makes everything awesome. Ethan is in the 7th grade and is in band playing the trombone and on the jr. high basketball team. Carlie….UGH I'M OLD…is in HIGH SCHOOL! She's a freshman this year and is in the top high school orchestra and on the softball team.
I am just so grateful to live here in AZ and that my kids have the opportunity to attend amazing schools and to participate in all kinds of activities. We're busier than ever it seems but happier than ever as well. So on to another school year…BRING IT!
