We did not have an "official" birthday party for Carlie this year. But no one needs to feel sorry for her because she did get to go to Europe and all:) So we just had fun as a family on her big day of turning 17. Buddy the Elf paid her a surprise visit and even brought her favorite candy--Chewy Sprees. She chose Freddy's for her birthday dinner and Dairy Queen blizzards as her treat rather than a cake. Cannot believe my baby girl is 17 and that she is starting her Senior year. My heart is happy and aches all at the same time. Love you Carlie Mae.
