Lamb Of God Production--Friday, March 30th

This was the 2nd Annual "Lamb Of God" production put on by Heritage Academy students.  And I mean JUST the students.  They did everything--organized the choir, ran the practices, reserved the venue, printed the fliers and programs, etc...

Carlie was the co-producer this year.  She ran all of the weekly rehearsals and then sang the part of Mother Mary.  This is a 2 hour music program composed by LDS composer Rob Gardner.  SERIOUS undertaking and these students did it masterfully.

So proud of my daughter and so proud of the school she has attended her entire High School career.  She has had many unique opportunities, like this one, because she is at a smaller school.

Way to go baby girl.  I was smiling from ear to ear the entire performance.

Funny story:  Carlie's best friend, Kayleah, is a crier (and she sang the part of Mary Magdalene and was AMAZING).  She cries AT EVERYTHING!!!  Max made a bet with me, for a Polar Pop, that Kayleah would NOT cry and that she would keep it together.  Well, he lost that bet BIG TIME!!!  We love Kayleah and tease all the time about her crying but that's one of the many traits that make her AWESOME!!!  How blessed we have been having her in our lives all these years:)
